Remembrance of Allah in Daily Life

1. People will not sit remembering Allah without the angels surrounding
them, mercy covering them, peace descending on them.
(Muslim).
2. The one who remembers his Lord and t he one who does not are like the
living and dead.
(Bukhari, Muslim).
3. Jaabir narrates that Muhammad (p) said: "The distinguishing
factor between kufr and Eman is the deliberate neglect of Salah."
(Muslim).
4. Muhammad (p) said that Allah said: The one who does a good deed will
have ten times the amount of blessings, and I [Allah] shall give more, but t he
one who does an evil deed will have an equivalent reward of evil, or I shall
grant forgiveness. If anyone draws the length of a span near Me, I shall draw
the length of a cubit near him, and if anyone draws the length of a cubit near
Me, I shall draw the length of a fathom near him. If anyone comes to Me walking
I shall come to him at a run, and if anyone meets me with sins of the size of
the earth, but has not associated anything with Me, I shall meet him a similar
amount of forgiveness.

5. Jaabir narrates that Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Salah is the
key to Jannah."
(Darami).
6. Abdullah Ibn Qart narrates that Muhammad (p) said: "The first
act about which one will be questioned on the Day of Resurrection will be
Salah. If Salah is found to be proper, other acts will pass as proper.
But, if Salah is found there to be despoiled, then all other acts too will
fail."
(Tabrani, Ausat).
7. Hanzalah narrates that he heard Muhammad (p) say: "Whoever guards the
five Salah while believing that the Salah is the Right of Allah, will enter
Jannah."
(Ahmad).
8. Bareedah narrates that Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "The pledge which exists between the people and us (the Prophets) is Salah. Thus, whoever neglects Salah has become a kafir (unbeliever)."
9. A time will come to humanity when a person won't care whether what he gets
comes from a lawful or an unlawful source.
(Bukhari).
10. Abu Hurairah narrates that Muhammad (p) said: "Will there remain any
impurity on a person who baths five times a day in a river flowing in front of
his house?" The people said: "No impurity will remain on him."
Muhammad (p) said: "This is the effect of the five Salah. By means of it,
Allah Ta'ala purifies the performer of all sins."
(Bukhari, Muslim).
11. Abdur Rahmaan bin Amr bin Al-Aas narrates that Muhammad (p) said:
"Salah on the Day of Resurrection, will be a light, a proof and a means of
salvation for the one who guarded it. He who neglects Salah, will have no light,
no proof and no salvation (from the direction of Salah) He (the one who neglects
Salah) will be in the company of Qarun, Fir'oun, Haman and Ubay Ibn Khalaf on
the Day of Resurrection."
(Ahmad, Darami, Baihaqi).
12. Flesh which has been nourished with what is unlawful will not enter
paradise.
(Baihaqi).
13. Flesh which has grown out of what is unlawful will not enter paradise,
but hell is more fitting for all flesh which has grown out of what is unlawful.
(Ahmad, Darimi, Baihaqi).
14. The truthful and trusty merchant is associated with the prophets, the
upright and the martyrs.
(Tirmidhi, Darimi, Daraqutni).
15. If anyone buys a garment for ten dirhams (dollars) among which one
(dollar) is unlawfully acquired, Allah most high will not accept prayer from him
as long as he wears it.
(Bukhari).
